Overview: Nishio Golf Club is a compact 18-hole, par-70 course beside the river in Isshiki, Nishio, Aichi. The current course profile lists about 5,161 yards, a single bent green and a flat, walkable setting. The short scorecard does not remove the need for accuracy. Fairways can feel narrow enough to make a safe landing position valuable, while the river environment and modest green targets reward a player who accepts a sensible lay-up instead of forcing every approach. It is a course built around rhythm, placement and repeatable iron play.
History: Nishio opened in 1974 and is credited to Seiji Inoue. The club's current site continues to present it as a riverside course and family-oriented golf property, with the active facility at the Otsuka address in Nishio. Current directory labels show Left and Right, but the available course record identifies one 18-hole routing with one bent green. Left is therefore retained as the canonical identity and Right is held for duplicate review.
Did You Know? The club's property covers about 75,000 tsubo and includes the golf course alongside a practice facility and a blueberry farm. That unusual mix helps explain Nishio's relaxed destination character, but the golf itself remains clearly defined by the river setting, a short par-70 card and the need to keep approach distances under control.
