Overview: Nikanti Golf Club sits in Nakhon Pathom, about an hour west of central Bangkok, and offers an 18-hole par-72 course of 6,789 yards. Pirapon Namatra of GolfEast designed the layout around a distinctive 6-6-6 concept: three six-hole loops, each containing two par threes, two par fours and two par fives. The pattern changes the rhythm of a conventional round and creates three possible starting areas without losing the scale of a full championship course. Rolling terrain, carefully shaped greens, water and bunkers make the course as much about decision-making as distance.
History: Nikanti was conceived as a complete golf and leisure experience rather than only a course with a clubhouse. The design idea, course circulation and hospitality are integrated into the property, with the 6-6-6 routing presented as its defining innovation. Pirapon Namatra’s role is clearly stated by the club, while the current operator’s maintenance notices confirm that the course remains actively managed and periodically renovated. An opening year is not added because the official material reviewed does not state one consistently.
Did You Know? Every six-hole loop contains the same basic par mix, but the holes are not repeated templates. Nikanti uses the structure to give players three different starts and a more flexible sense of progress through the round. The club describes the idea as connected to six senses in Buddhist philosophy, making the unusual scorecard design part of the course’s cultural identity as well as its practical layout.
