Overview: Nispa is the 18-hole course at Nidom Classic Course in Uenae, Tomakomai, surrounded by the forest and springs that define the wider resort. The official hole guide lists a 7,029-yard, par-72 routing from the longest published tee, with a mixture of open-looking landing areas, wooded approaches and holes that use the natural ground to change the shot. It is a full championship-scale round, not one of the three nine-hole loops that make up Nidom's separate Ikoro course.
History: The official Nidom history records Nispa as a major tournament venue. The PGA Japan Professional Golf Match Play Championship was held there from 1994 through 2000, the Japan Women's Professional Golf Championship followed in 2006, and the Japan Senior Open was also staged at the course. Current Nidom news continues to identify Nispa as the home of Japan's three major tournaments. A dependable original opening year or architect attribution was not found, so the profile does not fill either field from inference.
Did You Know? Nidom's course names come from Ainu language. The official club explains Nidom as forest and Nispa as leader or chief, while the other three nine-hole loops use names including Ashiri, Pirika and Kamui. That vocabulary is not decorative branding alone: Nispa's own identity is tied to the forest and spring landscape that the official guide says surrounds the 18 holes.
