Overview: Niagara Falls Country Club is a private Lewiston course with a traditional parkland routing near the Niagara River corridor. The course is compact by modern championship standards, so approach placement, green speed and recovery around the putting surfaces carry much of the scoring burden.
History: The club began with nine holes in 1900, moved to its present area in 1917 and opened the new 18-hole course in 1919. Robert Trent Jones redesigned the course in 1938, adding another important layer to the club's long design history.
Did You Know? The club records June 1, 1919 as the opening of the full 18-hole course. Niagara Falls therefore has separate dates for its founding nine, its move and the completion of the present 18-hole identity.
