Overview: Perched in the rolling hills of Ardagh, Newcastle West Golf Club is one of the most scenic and established parkland courses in County Limerick. Originally founded in 1938 and moved to its current site in 1994 with a layout designed by Dr. Arthur Spring, the course is a technical and visually grand test. Characterized by its many water hazards, mature woodland, and espectacular panoramic views across the West Limerick countryside, it offers a varied and demanding championship-standard round.
Did You Know? The course features a spectacular signature hole, the par-4 12th, where the fairway plays across a dramatic valley towards a well-protected green, providing one of the most atmospheric and high-stakes shots in the region. Its high-specification conditioning and its unhurried, rural character have made it a favorite for major regional tournaments and visitors to the Southwest.
