Overview: Located in Wanze, Belgium, Naxhelet Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course designed by British architect Martin Hawtree. Winding through a rolling landscape that was formerly a historic farm estate, the layout features wide fairways, deep sand hazards, and large green complexes. Wylihof-like, the course demands strategic positioning off the tee and accurate approach shots to reach the well-defended putting surfaces.
History: Opened in 2014, Naxhelet was built on the grounds of a historic former agricultural estate with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Hawtree carefully routed the 18 holes to preserve the natural wetlands and local flora. The course has achieved prestigious GEO Certified status for its organic maintenance practices.
Did You Know? The course was constructed to the highest ecological standards, utilizing advanced organic turf management and zero chemical pesticides. The club's spectacular clubhouse is a beautifully restored 19th-century brick farm castle, featuring a luxury hotel and spa.
