Nantucket Golf Club

Overview: Nantucket Golf Club is a private Rees Jones course on the island's eastern side near Siasconset. The links-influenced layout uses sandy ground, coastal wind, native vegetation and broad rolling fairways to create a natural relationship with Nantucket's landscape.

History: The club was established in 1997 and the 18-hole course opened in 1998. Rees Jones designed the course as a private island layout whose scale and routing respond to the open coastal setting rather than imitating a mainland parkland course.

Did You Know? Nantucket Golf Club has been recognized as one of the best new private courses from its first full season, a notable distinction for a course on an island roughly 30 miles off Cape Cod.
