Overview: Torri Pines/Erinn Glenn forms an 18-hole, par-72 course from two of Nancy Lopez Legacy's three championship nines in The Villages. The longest published tee totals combine 3,390 yards at Torri Pines with 3,512 at Erinn Glenn for 6,902 yards. Live oaks, water and the rolling Marion County terrain give the two-loop routing a more varied feel than its compact community setting might suggest.
History: Published records date the Nancy Lopez Legacy facility to 2001 and credit Clifton, Ezell & Clifton with Nancy Lopez's first course design. The three nines, Ashley Meadows, Erinn Glenn and Torri Pines, are named for Lopez's daughters. Torri Pines was formally christened as the third nine in 2019, while the current scorecard continues to list all three loops as a rotating championship facility.
Did You Know? Torri Pines/Erinn Glenn is the longest of the three official longest-tee rotations by the current nine-hole totals. The official ratings sheet lists it separately from Ashley/Torri and Erinn/Ashley, so golfers are not looking at one fixed 18-hole course with alternate names, but at three real combinations of the same 27 holes.
