Overview: Ashley Meadows/Torri Pines is one of the three regular 18-hole rotations at Nancy Lopez Legacy in The Villages. The par-72 routing combines the Ashley and Torri nines and measures 6,776 yards from the longest published tee totals, with live oaks, water and the rolling Marion County ground shaping the round. It is a full championship layout built from two distinct nine-hole loops rather than a standalone 18-hole course.
History: Published course records date the Nancy Lopez Legacy facility to 2001 and credit Clifton, Ezell & Clifton with Nancy Lopez's first course design. The three nines are named Ashley Meadows, Erinn Glenn and Torri Pines, after Lopez's daughters. Torri Pines was formally christened as the third nine in 2019, completing the facility's current three-loop identity.
Did You Know? The Villages publishes separate nine-hole totals for each loop, so this routing's 6,776-yard figure is the sum of Ashley Meadows at 3,386 and Torri Pines at 3,390 from the longest tees. The same three nines can be rotated into three different 18-hole combinations, each with its own rating and playing balance.
