Overview: Set across a stunning, rolling landscape of pine forests and rocky ridges on the island of Nøtterøy, Nøtterøy Golfklubb is one of Norway's premier parkland championship courses. Designed by Jeremy Turner, the course features wide, pristine fairways that wind through mature woodland before playing around natural rocky granite outcroppings. The large, heavily contoured greens are protected by strategic bunkers and water hazards, demanding strategic approach angles and creative short-game play.
History: Opened in 2003, Nøtterøy was built on an exceptional, sandy-loam island site, ensuring excellent natural drainage and impeccable turf conditioning throughout the Norwegian playing season. The course has quickly established itself as a premier venue, hosting major national championships and earning high praise for its tournament-quality greens.
Did You Know? The course features a highly memorable signature par-3 hole that plays over a deep, rocky water inlet to a wide green nestled against a dramatic, raw granite cliff face, providing a thrilling, scenic challenge late in the round.
