Overview: The Legends Course at Moonah Links is an 18-hole Ross Perrett design on the Mornington Peninsula, using native Moonah trees, generous fairways and bold bunkering to create a links-style companion to the resort’s Open Course. Its playing character is more forgiving than the championship layout next door without becoming routine.
History: The Legends course opened in 2004 and was designed as a tribute to Australian golf history. Each hole is named for a significant Australian Open champion, giving the routing a built-in historical thread as well as a distinct identity from the Open Course.
Did You Know? The course’s wild bunker shapes and native Moonah trees were intended to follow the natural flow of the land rather than impose a formal parkland pattern.
