Monarch Golf Club at Royal High

Overview: Monarch Golf Club at Royal High is the 18-hole semi-private course at Royal Highlands in Leesburg. The current club scorecard lists par 72 and 6,018 yards from the Tiger tees, with shorter Challenge and Master sets available. The layout moves through gently rolling ground and lakes, with Bermuda fairways and greens supporting a playable Orlando-area parkland round.

History: The Monarch was opened in 1997 as a member-owned course serving the Royal Highlands community. The current club describes it as a semi-private facility that welcomes members, guests and visitors, while the course record credits Len DeBoer as architect. The property has matured within the active-adult community without losing its original 18-hole identity.

Did You Know? The Tiger scorecard is only 6,018 yards, but it still contains four par fives and four par threes alongside ten par fours. That compact par-72 mix gives the course a varied rhythm and makes tee selection an important part of the round.
