Overview: Between Phoenix and Tucson, Mission Royale Golf Club offers an 18-hole public layout in Casa Grande. The Greg Nash design opened in 2004, carries par 72 and measures 6,700 yards from the black tees. The course moves through an active-adult community but keeps a scenic desert presentation, with broad fairways, Bermuda turf, water and distant hill views. It is a useful stop for golfers travelling the I-10 corridor or building a lower-key Casa Grande itinerary, offering a complete regulation course without the resort scale of nearby destination properties.
History: Mission Royale was developed as part of an 835-acre community and the golf course was intended to blend into the surrounding Sonoran landscape. The Greg Nash design has remained the central recreational feature, supported by a practice range, putting green, shop and grill. The facility has continued as a public course while the surrounding community grew, giving it a stable local role as well as a place in the wider Phoenix-to-Tucson golf network.
Did You Know? Mission Royale’s par-72 scorecard begins with a par 5 and finishes with a par 4. The sequence gives the opening and closing holes different strategic jobs, with the long third and twelfth holes supplying the biggest tests.
