Overview: Winding through the hills of Howey-in-the-Hills, El Campeón at Mission Resort is a parkland course. The layout features atypical Florida topography with natural elevation changes of up to 85 feet and mature stands of hardwoods.
History: Opened in 1917, the course was designed by Chicago architect George O'Neil. It is one of the oldest active golf courses in the state of Florida.
Did You Know? The course features a signature double-dogleg par-five 17th hole that wraps around a large lake, requiring a precise carry over water to reach the green.
