Overview: Located next to Paal Lake in Beringen, Belgium, the Championship Course at Millennium Golf is an 18-hole parkland course designed by Belgian architect Bruno Steensels. Winding through a mature forest of oak, beech, and birch trees, the layout features flat fairways, large white sand hazards, and expansive green complexes. The course is characterized by its significant water hazards, with several holes playing directly along the lake shores and demanding accurate distance control.
History: Opened in 2000, Millennium Golf was developed with the goal of creating a modern tournament-caliber venue in the Limburg province. Steensels utilized the flat, forested terrain and integrated the massive central lake to design a highly strategic layout that values tee shot positioning and precise approach play over sheer power.
Did You Know? The course features a modern clubhouse with a panoramic terrace overlooking Paal Lake and the closing holes. The lake itself is a popular regional recreation site, and players on the back nine frequently share the water margins with local windsurfers and sailboats.
