Mijas Golf (Los Lagos)

Overview: Mijas Golf's Los Lagos loop is the longer 18-hole parkland course in the hills above the Costa del Sol. Robert Trent Jones Sr. shaped generous fairways, nine lakes, bold bunkering, and long approaches that reward a controlled line into the greens.

History: Los Lagos opened in 1976 as the first of the two principal Mijas Golf courses and was later refurbished. Its design remains rooted in the original Jones routing and the site's natural valley forms, even as Mijas became a major golf destination.

Did You Know? The nine lakes are central to the course's identity, but water does not play the same role on every hole. Some hazards shape the preferred tee line, while others wait beside the approach.
