Overview: Miccosukee Golf and Country Club's Marlin/Barracuda routing combines two of the facility's three nines for an 18-hole round. The exact combination scorecard used here lists par 72 and 6,719 yards from the blue tees. Marlin brings mature trees, interconnected lakes and shot-shaping angles, while Barracuda adds sharper doglegs, narrower corridors and frequent water decisions.
History: Miccosukee is a 27-hole facility built around the Marlin, Dolphin and Barracuda nines. Course records date the facility to 1970 and credit Mark Mahannah with the design. The club has hosted LPGA and PGA events, including the Miccosukee Championship, giving the three-nine routing a documented tournament connection.
Did You Know? The official course description presents Barracuda as the most demanding of the three nines, with forced carries and water on nearly every hole. Marlin offers a different kind of test, using curved fairways, elevation changes and water-lined landing zones to reward precise positioning.
