Overview: Miccosukee Golf and Country Club's Dolphin/Barracuda routing combines two of the facility's three nines for an 18-hole round. The scorecard record used here lists par 72 and 6,709 yards from the blue tees. Dolphin circles a large lake with broad landing areas, while Barracuda adds narrower corridors, sharper doglegs and frequent water decisions.
History: Miccosukee is a 27-hole facility built around three distinct nines, Dolphin, Marlin and Barracuda. Course records date the facility to 1970 and credit Mark Mahannah with the design. The club has also hosted LPGA and PGA events, including the Miccosukee Championship, giving the three-nine routing a documented tournament connection.
Did You Know? The official course description singles out Dolphin holes D3 and D6 as running alongside water, with water also affecting D7 and D9. On the Barracuda nine, the course description emphasizes forced carries and water on nearly every hole, so the character changes noticeably when the two loops are paired.
