Overview: Mazury Golf & Country Club is a parkland and meadow course in Naterki, set among the lakes and rolling scenery of the Masurian region. The club identifies Hawtree Ltd., with Martin Hawtree at the helm, as the architectural force behind the championship course. The layout uses a mixture of open ground, gentle hills and water to create a varied par-72 round, while the surrounding landscape supplies the quiet, expansive atmosphere associated with northeastern Poland.
History: The Naterki project developed in the early 2000s as a substantial golf and hotel investment, building on an existing smaller golf property and expanding it into a championship complex. The Polish Golf Union records national competitions at Mazury from 2002 onwards, including the first Polish professional and amateur championships held there. The modern facility also includes a separate six-hole Pitch and Putt course alongside the main 18-hole routing.
Did You Know? Mazury combines a championship 18-hole course with a separate six-hole Pitch and Putt layout. That pairing reflects the project's broader idea of golf as both a serious competitive sport and an activity that can be enjoyed in a compact, scenic form within the same Masurian landscape.
