Overview: Marsh Landing Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Ponte Vedra Beach, built around forested green spaces and Florida marshland. Ed Seay of Arnold Palmer Course Design created the layout, which plays to par 72 and 6,863 yards from the championship tees. The club offers multiple tee positions and Tif-Eagle Bermuda Champion greens.
History: Marsh Landing opened in 1986 as part of the Ponte Vedra Beach community. Its course history includes a 1994 U.S. Amateur qualifier, U.S. Open qualifiers in 2000 and 2001, and the 2003 Florida State Senior Amateur Championship. The club also records later charitable and invitational events that used the course as their host venue.
Did You Know? Ed Seay was a University of Florida graduate and later served as president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. That connection gives the Ponte Vedra course an especially local architectural link to the state and the nearby university.
