Overview: Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida is an 18-hole university course on the Gainesville campus. The current course page lists par 70 and 6,700 yards from the Gator tees, while the course history page gives 6,701 yards and describes 110 to 116 acres of softly rolling, heavily tree-lined ground. The original Donald Ross design was substantially reshaped by Bobby Weed.
History: Independent course records date the original Gainesville Country Club layout to 1921. The University of Florida course history places its relationship with the Gator golf teams in 1962 and records a $4 million Bobby Weed renovation in 2001. The current name honors Mark Bostick, while the University Athletic Association owns and operates the facility.
