Overview: Located on a high ridge overlooking the Mariager Fjord in Denmark, the 18 Huls Bane at Mariager Fjord Golfklub is an 18-hole parkland course designed by Michael Traasdahl Møller. Winding through rolling hillsides, deep ravines, and mature woodlands, the layout features significant elevation changes and constant coastal winds. The course demands accurate distance control off the tee and precise putting on large, multi-tiered greens that are heavily exposed to changing fjord breezes.
History: Opened in 2007, the course was built to establish a modern golfing facility in northern Jutland that showcases the area's dramatic topography. Møller routed the holes to fit organically into the undulating hillsides, minimizing artificial land alteration and preserving the natural water run-offs and local flora.
Did You Know? The modern clubhouse features a panoramic restaurant that sits 50 meters above sea level. This elevated position provides one of the most spectacular views in Danish golf, overlooking the pristine waters of the Mariager Fjord and the surrounding forest canopy.
