Overview: Lost Tree Club is a private 18-hole course in North Palm Beach, woven into the coastal landscape of Lost Tree Village. The modern routing is associated with Jack Nicklaus and Kipp Schulties, and the redesigned course is listed at par 72 and 6,813 yards. Its setting is defined by mature vegetation, water and the narrow coastal geography between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal.
History: Lost Tree Village opened in 1959 after founder John D. MacArthur and his partners developed the community around the idea of a secluded golf-and-coastal retreat. Kipp Schulties was retained for a complete redesign with Jack Nicklaus in 2001, with the updated course opening for play in 2002.
Did You Know? The community’s name comes from a local legend about a distinctive gumbo-limbo tree that survived after surrounding vegetation was cleared.
