Overview: Winding through a stunning, mature river valley just east of Oslo, the Østmork Course at Losby Golfklubb is a premier championship parkland venue designed by Peter Nordwall. The course is built along the banks of the winding Losby River, which serves as a major hazard on several holes. The layout features wide, rolling fairways framed by dense forests, dramatic elevation changes, and large, fast greens protected by strategic, sand-faced bunkers.
History: Opened in 1999 as part of the historic Losby Gods estate, the course was designed to offer a world-class championship test in Akershus. Nordwall meticulously routed the 18 holes to preserve the natural valley contours and integrate the river hazards, quickly establishing the course as a key venue for national championships and a favorite for Scandinavian golfers.
Did You Know? The historic Losby Gods manor house dates back to 1850 and served as a prestigious hunting lodge for the Norwegian royal family and European aristocrats, and now stands as a luxury hotel adjacent to the course.
