Overview: Los Coyotes Country Club's Vista/Lake uses two of the three Los Coyotes nines for an 18-hole round in Buena Park. The current scorecard gives the black tees a par of 72 and 6,545 yards. Its design history begins with William Bell Jr. and includes later Ted Robinson work, while the playing character comes from rolling terrain, mature trees, bunkers and water features.
History: The club's official material describes 27 holes, with William Bell Jr. responsible for the original design and Ted Robinson involved in a partial redesign. No reliable opening year for the present Vista/Lake combination was found, so the date remains null. That is preferable to assigning the date of another nine or presenting the club's whole history as one construction event.
Did You Know? The Lake nine is not simply a name: it is one of the three distinct loops that can be combined at Los Coyotes. Paired with Vista, it produces a different scorecard from Valley/Vista, even though the same tree-lined private property supplies the setting.
