Overview: Lisburn Golf Club is a premier championship parkland course and a model of late 20th-century strategic architecture. While the club was founded in 1905, it moved to its current, expansive site in 1973, with a layout designed by the renowned Fred W. Hawtree. Known for its "immaculate conditioning" and its massive, undulating greens, the course provides a technical and fair test among mature woodland and well-placed hazards in the Lagan Valley.
Did You Know? The course is consistently ranked as one of the best parkland layouts in Northern Ireland and is a frequent host for the Irish Amateur Close Championship. Its design prizes tactical accuracy, and its large, multi-tiered greens are considered some of the most consistent and challenging surfaces in the region, requiring extreme touch and clinical putting.
