Overview: The Links Valley is the first reversible 9-hole course in the Netherlands. Designed by Louis van der Veen, it opened in 2018 and features an inland links style. The North Course plays north-to-south on even days and south-to-north on odd days. It offers a unique routing experience with massive sandy waste areas. Visitors can book green fees specifically for the North Course or combine them with the South Course.
History: This facility opened in 2018 as the first reversible golf course in Europe. The design concept allows the same holes to be played in opposite directions depending on the day of the week. It is located in Ermelo, Gelderland, Netherlands. The project was developed to provide a unique challenge for golfers visiting the region.
Did You Know? Reversible courses are a rare throwback to the early days of golf like the Old Course at St Andrews. On even days the course plays north-to-south and on odd days it flips entirely. It is effectively two courses in one! The routing changes keep the experience fresh for repeat visitors.
