Overview: The Links of Lake Bernadette is an 18-hole semi-private course in Zephyrhills, north of Tampa. Its detailed course record lists par 71 and 6,484 yards from the blue tees, with rolling fairways, towering pines and a mature Florida setting. The routing combines several par fives with water and tree-lined corridors that reward accurate placement.
History: The current official course site identifies Dean Refram as the designer and dates the opening to 1980. Several course databases use 1983 as the built year, a conflict retained in the notes rather than silently removed. New ownership took over in 2022 and has since reported improvements to tees, greens, fairways and the clubhouse.
Did You Know? Golf Digest course references have highlighted the 13th, a 163-yard par three, as a standout par three in the Tampa Bay area. That hole is part of a scorecard whose back nine plays to par 35, one stroke tougher than the outward nine.
