Overview: The Links at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland, is a resort course designed by Pete Dye. Winding along the tidal marshes of the Miles River and the Chesapeake Bay, the layout features Dye's signature wooden bulkheads, sand waste areas, and undulating green complexes that demand precise shot-making, careful strategy, and creative recovery play on almost every hole of this highly scenic routing.
History: Opened in 2018, the course was one of the final championship design projects completed by Pete Dye before his passing, with assistance from his son P.B. Dye. The layout was built on the site of the former Martingham Golf Course, which was completely reconstructed to implement Dye's designs.
Did You Know? The par-three seventeenth hole is a replica of Pete Dye's known island green at TPC Sawgrass, requiring players to hit a precise tee shot over water. This signature layout provides a memorable challenge, especially when coastal breezes blow off the nearby Miles River, demanding both confidence and perfect club selection to find the green.
