Overview: Linköpings Golfklubb is a historic woodland and park course with a mature Swedish character. The layout developed in stages, and the present 18-hole identity combines the original local setting with the shaping work of two important Swedish designers.
History: The club was founded in 1945, six holes were ready in 1947, nine in 1949, twelve in 1952 and the 18-hole course was inaugurated in 1956. Rafael Sundblom and Douglas Brasier are identified with the course's development.
Did You Know? Linköping's 18-hole course took nearly a decade to grow from the first six holes to a complete layout, a common pattern in the early development of Swedish golf clubs.
