Overview: Lexington Country Club is an 18-hole private course in Fort Myers. Its current scorecard reaches 7,004 yards from the longest tees and plays to par 72, with generous fairways, large greens, strategic bunkers and numerous water hazards. The residential setting is shaped by the 1995 Gordon Lewis design and the later Kipp Schulties renovation.
History: Gordon Lewis designed the course in 1995. In 2015, the membership approved a complete renovation by Kipp Schulties Golf Design. The project finished in 2017. The renovation changed the turf from tee to green and refreshed the bunkering, water-hazard presentation and landscaping while retaining the club's original course identity.
Did You Know? The club's published course description lists six tee-box choices, with the longest card extending beyond 7,000 yards and the shortest reaching 4,571. The same 18-hole routing therefore changes substantially in scale depending on the selected set.
