Overview: Located in Kittilä, deep in the Finnish Lapland, Levi Golf is a spectacular 18-hole woodland and wetland course designed by Pekka Sivula. Set in a wide valley at the base of the Levi fell, the layout features narrow, heavily restricted fairways bordered by dense pine and birch forests, extensive natural wetlands, and small green complexes. The course demands extreme accuracy to avoid the water hazards and thick arctic forest undergrowth.
History: The club's development began in 2004, with the first nine holes opening in 2005 and the full 18-hole championship layout completed in 2006. Built in one of the most extreme northern environments for golf in the world, the construction required extensive environmental planning to protect the delicate arctic tundra and wetlands.
Did You Know? Located nearly 170 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, Levi Golf is the northernmost 18-hole golf course in Finland. During the peak of the short summer season, the course enjoys 24-hour daylight, allowing players to play alongside free-roaming reindeer under the midnight sun.
