Overview: Lemuria Championship Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 resort course at Constance Lémuria on Praslin, Seychelles. The official resort page lists 5,611 metres, approximately 6,135 yards, and describes the course as the country's unique 18-hole layout. The first twelve holes move through palm-fringed, low-lying terrain with water and mangrove features before the closing six climb into a wooded, rocky landscape above the beaches.
History: Lemuria opened in October 2000 and was designed by Marc Antoine Farry and Rodney Wright. The course was built to USPGA standards within the Constance Lémuria resort and became a recurring host for the MCB Tour Championship Seychelles, including the 2019 Legends Tour event won by Peter Fowler.
Did You Know? The signature 15th is a short par three played from a high rocky ridge to a green around 50 metres below. From the tee, the drop frames Anse Georgette, white sand and the Indian Ocean, making the hole one of the most distinctive shots in Seychelles golf.
