Overview: Mustang at Lely Resort is an 18-hole public resort course in Naples designed by Lee Trevino. The current official course page lists par 72 and 7,230 yards, with gently rolling fairways, large receptive greens and 12 scenic lakes creating the main strategic features. Multiple tees give the layout a broad range of playing distances.
History: The Mustang course opened in 1996 as Lee Trevino's championship layout at Lely Resort. Its design was intended to offer a demanding but fair test, and the course remains one of the resort's two public 18-hole layouts alongside Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s Flamingo Island. The private Classics course completes the resort's three-course golf complex.
Did You Know? Twelve scenic lakes are integrated into the Mustang layout, while multiple tees let the same routing present different angles and distances. The combination gives the course a water-shaped identity without relying on a single signature hole.
