Overview: The Moorland Course at Legends Golf Resort is a resort layout in Myrtle Beach designed by P.B. Dye. Large natural areas, sand, water, waste spaces and strong undulation give the course a bold Dye-style personality within the Grand Strand resort market.
History: Moorland opened for play in 1990 and quickly became known as one of the area’s most demanding resort courses. Its design was shaped in the Dye tradition, with sculpted terrain and hazards that ask for more than simple distance control.
Did You Know? The 16th hole is a 245-yard par four with a bunker named Hell’s Half Acre. It is an unusually long one-shot-style challenge and one of the course’s most memorable features.
