Overview: Situated high above Lake Geneva in the rolling hills of the Swiss canton of Vaud, Lavaux Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole parkland course designed by Peter Harradine. The layout winds across steeply terraced agricultural land, featuring significant elevation changes, mature woodland borders, and natural streams. The course demands strategic shot placement to navigate the side-hill lies and precise approach play to hold the small, well-defended green complexes.
History: Opened in 1999, the course was built to provide a high-quality competitive venue in the famous Lavaux wine region. Harradine carefully routed the holes to respect the historic agricultural contours of the land, creating a highly walkable yet strategically demanding layout that blends seamlessly into the surrounding alpine pastures.
Did You Know? The course offers spectacular, unobstructed views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps on clear days. The club is located immediately adjacent to the Lavaux vineyard terraces, which are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
