Overview: Beautifully situated along the shores of Lake Peurunka in central Finland, Laukaan Peurunkagolf is a scenic 18-hole parkland course designed by American architect Ron Fream. Winding through rolling birch and pine forests and natural glacial ridges, the layout features significant elevation shifts and multiple water hazards. The course represents a highly technical test, where narrow fairways and small, well-defended green complexes punish inaccurate ball-striking.
History: Founded in 1986 and opened for play in 1989, Laukaan Peurunkagolf was designed to combine international architectural standards with the natural forest landscape of Central Finland. Fream utilized the undulating lakeside topography to create a course that balances strategic hazard placement with scenic routing. Over the subsequent decades, the venue has built a reputation as one of Finland's premier lakeside courses.
Did You Know? The course is built in a region famous for its pristine natural lakes. Players can enjoy views of the water from seventeen of the eighteen holes, and the signature par-3 15th green sits on a narrow spit of land extending directly into Lake Peurunka.
