The Landings Club (Deer Creek)

Overview: Deer Creek at The Landings Club in Savannah, Georgia, is a spectacular and highly prestigious private championship parkland course designed by the legendary architect Tom Fazio. Set beautifully in a coastal forest of towering live oaks and mature pines along the scenic Skidaway River, the course features pristine fairways, strategic sand traps, and Fazio's signature complex green complexes.

History: Opened in 1991, Deer Creek was the fifth of six championship courses built at The Landings Club. Fazio designed the layout to blend inland parkland holes with dramatic marshland vistas. In 2009, Fazio returned to lead a major modernization project, which modernized the green shapes, added new drainage systems, and reconstructed all the bunkers.

Did You Know? The course hosted the Savannah Golf Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour from 2018 to 2020, showcasing its challenging, Fazio-designed greens to the next generation of professional stars.
