Lakota Canyon Ranch Golf Club

Overview: Lakota Canyon Ranch Golf Club is a public 18-hole James Engh design in New Castle, Colorado. The course follows canyon landforms with elevated tees, rolling fairways and views across the Colorado foothills.

History: The course opened in May 2004 and was built to fit the natural slopes and canyon edges of the Lakota property. Its routing uses elevation as a strategic feature rather than treating the site as flat parkland.

Did You Know? Several tee shots are played from elevated ground, so the course's mountain character affects both sightlines and club selection.
