Lakewood National Golf Club (Piper)

Overview: The Piper Course at Lakewood National Golf Club is an 18-hole Arnold Palmer Design Company layout in Lakewood Ranch. Current Piper records list par 72 and 6,843 yards, with broad fairways, substantial bunkering and water hazards creating the main challenge. It shares the Lakewood National property with the Commander Course and is part of the community's modern Florida golf identity.

History: Current Piper records list 2019 as the opening year. Lakewood National was developed as a two-course Arnold Palmer golf property, with Piper paired with the Commander Course. A Golf Digest entry for the Piper identity displays 2017 and 7,291 yards, so the profile uses the more specific current Piper scorecard record and retains the conflicting record in the notes.

Did You Know? Lakewood National pairs Piper with Commander, giving the property two separate 18-hole Arnold Palmer Design Company layouts. The two-course setup is a defining feature of the Lakewood National golf community.
