Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Overview: Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is an 18-hole Joe Lee resort course at Walt Disney World, with the blue tees listed at 6,745 yards and a par-72 scorecard. Lakes, palmettos, wildlife habitat, and the Audubon sanctuary setting give the course a distinct central Florida resort character.

History: Lake Buena Vista opened in 1972 as one of the original Walt Disney World golf courses. It has hosted PGA, LPGA, and USGA events, but the resort currently lists the course as closed for renovation through fall 2026.

Did You Know? The Disney golf operation has a long tournament history, including the Disney Classic era that ran from 1971 through 2012. Lake Buena Vista's current closure should therefore be read as a renovation status, not as evidence that the historic course identity has disappeared.
