Laguna Woods Golf Club (3 to 1)

Overview: Laguna Woods Golf Club's 3/1 routing combines Course 3 and Course 1 into an 18-hole private-community scorecard. The current course record lists par 71 and 5,749 yards from the blue tees, with Harry and David Rainville attached to the Laguna Woods golf courses. The short, varied route is part of a three-nine facility rather than a standalone 18-hole property.

History: Current course records place the Laguna Woods golf facility in the mid-1960s and identify 1964 as the working date for this course family. The Rainville attribution is retained because it appears in the course records, while the profile avoids claiming a detailed construction or renovation story that the sources do not document.

Did You Know? The 3/1 combination plays to a different par from the neighboring 2/3 combination. That small difference is a useful reminder that Laguna Woods' route names are not cosmetic: each pair of nines produces its own scorecard and playing identity.
