Overview: La Grange Country Club is a private western-suburban Chicago course with a traditional perimeter routing and a long connection to William B. Langford’s design work. The par-72 layout uses tree-lined corridors, shaped greens and strategic bunkering rather than relying solely on length.
History: Fifty charter members founded the club in 1899. After the first nine-hole course, a new 18-hole course was developed during the 1913 move to the current site, attributed to Thomas Bendelow with significant contributions from William B. Langford.
Did You Know? The original clubhouse was moved to the current property in 1913, an engineering feat that happened alongside the creation of the 18-hole course.
