Overview: La Cita Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole Ron Garl and Lee Trevino design in Titusville on Florida's Space Coast. The current club history lists 6,670 yards and describes manicured fairways and greens framed by mature trees, native woodland and small lakes. Water affects most of the holes, creating a strategic parkland course within a 120-acre setting.
History: The club's official history dates construction to 1982, when founding owner EKS Development built the golf course. Other course records use 1983, so the official 1982 date is stored with the one-year difference retained in the notes. Ownership later passed through ClubCorp and Jim Musick before Vivian Dimond purchased the club in December 2016 and began a renewed improvement program.
Did You Know? The course's lakes are not just visual features: the club's historical description says all but four holes are affected by them. The setting also supports a range of native and wetland birds, including egrets, sandhill cranes, ospreys, hawks and eagles.
