Overview: Set along the pristine shores of Lake Kytäjä in Hyvinkää, the South East course at Kytäjä Golf is widely celebrated as Finland's finest golf course. Designed by Canadian architect Thomas McBroom, the parkland layout features wide, rolling fairways that wind through dense pine forests before playing directly along the lakeside. The course is renowned for its impeccable, tour-quality conditioning, strategic bunkering, and beautifully undulating greens that roll exceptionally fast and true.
History: Opened in 2003, the South East course was the first of Kytäjä's two championship layouts, immediately elevating Finland's standing on the European golf map. McBroom's design utilized the natural lakefront topography to create a visual masterpiece that hosted the Finnish Open and established the resort as a premier destination for international tournament golf.
Did You Know? The closing stretch of holes plays directly along the edge of Lake Kytäjä, offering breathtaking, windswept views where players must hold their nerve and control their ball flight over the water to secure a good score.
