Overview: Located on the western coast of Zealand, Denmark, the Old Course at Korsør Golf Klub is an 18-hole parkland and woodland layout. Winding through dense pine forests and open meadows near the coast, the course features tight fairways, subtle elevation changes, and small, well-defended putting surfaces. The dense tree canopy heavily restricts the playing corridors, demanding precise ball placement off the tee and disciplined iron play.
History: Founded in the late 1970s, the Old Course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the Slagelse region. The layout was carefully integrated into the natural, rugged topography, minimizing earth movement to preserve the historic agricultural landscape and the deep natural ravines.
Did You Know? The course is built immediately adjacent to the massive Great Belt strait (Storebælt). From several holes, players can enjoy clear views of the spectacular Great Belt Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world.
