Overview: The Aliʻi Mountain routing at Kona Country Club climbs above the Kona coast, using lava ground, dryland vegetation and changing elevation to create a different test from the neighboring Ocean course. The course’s natural setting is visible in exposed rock, broad Pacific views and the way the holes turn through the contours above Keauhou.
History: Kona Country Club was built in 1966 and is associated with William F. Bell. The operator identifies the club’s two routings and notes its history of hosting the LPGA Takefuji Classic in 2000 and 2001. Exact current tee yardage for the Aliʻi Mountain combination is not published consistently enough to retain here.
Did You Know? The Kona property’s lava rocks are not decorative landscaping brought in after construction. They are part of the original volcanic ground, and the routing works around those formations rather than removing every trace of them.
