Overview: Located in Hørsholm, just north of Copenhagen, Denmark, Kokkedal Golfklub is a highly scenic 18-hole parkland course. Winding through a gently rolling agricultural landscape bordered by mature forests, the layout features wide fairways, significant elevation changes, and beautifully contoured greens. The course offers a highly playable and strategic experience, requiring players to navigate rolling hills and numerous water hazards.
History: Founded in 1971, the course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the Capital Region. The layout was carefully routed to fit organically into the undulating hillsides, minimizing artificial land alteration and preserving the natural water run-offs and local flora. The club frequently hosts Danish amateur championships.
Did You Know? The course is built on the historic grounds of the majestic Kokkedal Castle. The massive, beautifully restored 18th-century castle sits on a high ridge overlooking the property, providing a historic and majestic focal point for the estate.
