Overview: Knole Park occupies open parkland within the historic Knole estate at Sevenoaks. The championship tees measure 6,669 yards at par 70, and the course uses the park’s mature trees, long grass and changing ground levels to frame its fairways and greens.
History: The golf course was laid out in Knole Park in 1923 and is credited by the club with the architect Abercromby. The layout was lengthened in the 1960s, when it became a par-70 course, and it has since hosted the Kent Cob Open and English national amateur championships.
Did You Know? The course has a film connection: the club records that the Beatles used Knole Park while filming material associated with Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane.
