Overview: Kissimmee Bay Country Club is a semi-private 18-hole Lloyd Clifton design south of Orlando. The current club describes a traditional southern-style championship course with par 71 and 6,830 yards from the gold tees. Broad fairways, mature oaks, palms, water and the natural Florida setting give the layout a parkland character around Kissimmee Bay.
History: The course opened in 1990 and was shaped from a natural oak forest, according to the club and Golf Digest. The current official course page credits Lloyd Clifton, while a later ownership filing describes the design team as Clifton, Ezell and Clifton. The facility remains open to public play while also offering membership benefits, so the course is treated as semi-private rather than private.
Did You Know? Kissimmee Bay's fairways are framed by oak trees that the ownership record describes as roughly a century old. The course therefore combines a modern 1990 routing with a landscape whose most distinctive trees predate the golf course itself.
